Beaches and Beach Resorts in the Philippines: Pagudpud White Sand Beach

Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte is the farthest geographical point from Manila without leaving the island of Luzon. Pagudpud Beach has powder-white sand, and is barely commercialized with only nipa and bamboo huts and cottages.

Another stretch of white sand in Pagudpud is at Baranggay Saud. Here, the more luxurious Saud Resort is located, with rooms at about US$35-40 a night.

A favorite take-home delicacy from Pagudpud is Pasuquin, the famous biscocho or Ilocos biscuit.
